Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor/DOO
The position of Warehouse Technician will be assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in North Kingstown, RI. In this role you will perform shipping, delivery and receiving duties; responsible for helping maintain inventories through spot checks and cycle counts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives and delivers inbound packages.
Maintains inventory control.
Fills material requisitions and delivers to appropriate department.
Assists in purchasing materials.
Responsible for cleanliness of warehouse and shipping areas.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
All other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver’s License. Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
Drive a flatbed truck to pickup and make deliveries.
Warehouse and shipping/receiving experience.
COMPETENCIES:
Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts a plus.
Knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
