Location: Atlavox | 14 Broadcommon Rd, Bristol, RI
Pay: $17/hr
Schedule: Flexible: choose a few full days per week or part-time M–F shifts

Atlavox builds and sells off-grid radio equipment that lets people send text messages without cell service, internet, or satellite. Our products are used around the world by the U.S. military, a wildlife reserve in South Africa, hurricane victims in North Carolina, wildland firefighters, hikers, hobbyists, and more.
We're a small but growing business, and we need hands-on help with assembly, 3D printing, packaging, and order fulfillment.

Who This Is For
If you’re a natural tinkerer, builder, or maker, you’ll love this role. Ideal for someone who enjoys:
✅Electronics, 3D printing, laser cutting
✅Computers, Ham radio, or hands-on engineering
✅Small tools and careful, precise work
Key Responsibilities
✅Operate and maintain 3 Bambu 3D printers (start prints, swap filament, basic maintenance)
✅Use hand tools and small power tools to assemble radios (requires good dexterity and feel for torque)
✅Use a desktop laser cutter to make custom inserts
✅Label and package products for sale
✅Perform quality checks on assembled products
✅Review and fulfill orders using Shopify and our custom software (no prior experience needed)
✅Keep workspace clean and organized
✅Collaborate to improve systems and workflow. We are always improving workflows and want you to actively contribute ideas to make your work easier.
What We're Looking For
✅Experience (hobby or professional) in 3D printing, soldering, laser cutting, or general “maker” work
✅Comfortable using small tools and drills
✅High attention to detail and pride in high-quality work
✅Bonus: familiarity with Ham radio, RF, electronics, or Meshtastic
