Transportation Planning Assistant- Part-time / As-needed

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Documenting and observing customer behavior and patterns as they use a specific ticket vending machine (TVM).Engaging with members of the public by asking them to fill out a TVM Survey.Supporting the survey design team with feedback on design effectiveness.Collecting and organizing data on passenger counts at MBTA Commuter Rail Stations in Rhode Island.Assisting in the analysis of transportation patterns and trends based on collected data.Preparing basic reports and presentations on field observations and data findings.Collaborating with team members to ensure consistent data collection methodologies across different locations.Maintaining accurate records of field activities and observations.Assisting in the development and implementation of public engagement strategies for transportation projects.Supporting the team in creating visual aids and infographics to communicate transportation data effectively.
