Job Details

Design, document and maintain PLC, HMI, Servo, and other control programs for industrial packaging machinery.
Develop schematics and electrical panel layouts for control and power distribution for packaging machinery.
Provide input to performance, design, and test specifications for packaging equipment.
Assist in startup and commissioning of equipment.

Education, Experience & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science with at least 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education/experience is required.An understanding of Rockwell RSLogix or Siemens development software, HMI's, Servo controls, Schematic Capture software, AutoCAD or equivalent CAD environments is required.Must possess strong technical writing, communication and interpersonal skills required with a demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.The willingness and ability to travel to customer sites both nationally and internationally is essential.Must possess a strong working knowledge of computer programs such as Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook and Project.Excellent planning and coordination skills and the ability to readily adapt to changes in priorities and project schedules is required.
