Busy automobile dealership seeking qualified team mate to add to our growing team. We are looking for a posting clerk to assist in our accounting office. We offer a complete compliment of employee benefits including paid time off, Blue Cross Health Insurance and Delta Dental. This position reports directly to the office manager.
Duties are as outlined, and others may be assigned:
Deal Clerk Duties:
Post & finalize all retail deals & dealer trades
Calculate commissions
Process & maintain clean accounting schedules
Maintain list of items needed from customer deals
Verify the accuracy and completion of verification of payoffs and check requests before processing and distributing checks.
Generate flooring and posting reports for reconciliation of accounts. View, reconcile and post daily and month end accounting.
Assist with submission & cancellation of Warranty, Gap, CPO and other products
Submit all manufacturer rebates and reconcile weekly remittance from GM
Provides administrative assistance as needed
Deal Clerk Qualifications:
Previous automotive dealership experience in any of the following areas: Dealership accounting, finance, contracts, or deal posting is required
Highly organized, detail-oriented multi-tasker
Excellent customer service skills and be good at interacting with people
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Internet. Experience with Reynolds and Route One or other dealership software is a Plus. Notary a Plus
