Manager in Financial Services - Capital Markets/CIBOur team in Asia is facing exciting growth, and we are looking for passionate consultants to join our team in Hong Kong.We are currently looking for a Manager to join our CIB department who has experience within wealth management/private banking or global/capital markets environment and have familiarity with one or more of the below topics:

  • Project experience involving financial instruments
  • Solid understanding of value chain of transaction
  • Experience on risk management or regulations in capital markets & investment banking (Mifid 2, MAD/MAR, EMIR, BCBS 239, etc.)
  • Project experience within innovative fields (Digital/AI/RPA)

As a Manager, you will help to build our expertise and guarantee the quality of delivery to ensure market-leading practices for our Hong Kong office, taking into account the global nature of our organisation and our clients.

This will involve:

  • As part of the Corporate & Investment Banking Practice, delivering project work across a range of clients
  • Play a key role in business developmentby contributing to the definition of needs and participating in commercial activities (development of pitches, responses to RFP, etc.)
  • Participate in the recruitment efforts to continually grow the team, and mentor and contribute to the career development of team members
  • Working closely with other Sia Partners’ offices and leverage our global network to take part in cross-selling initiatives and widely share our knowledge
  • Track the latest developments, news and activities across the financial services industry and contribute to the development of the Sia Partners brand in Asia (publication of articles, blogs, networking, event speaker).
  • Support in the publication activities (sector blogs, articles, insights, etc.)
  • Working closely with our other offices and leverage our global network to take part to cross-selling initiatives and widely share our knowledge
  • Managing stakeholder relationships with our key clients and provide recommendations
  • Managing key strategic accounts

Types of engagements that you will be involved in:

As part of a diverse and motivated team, you will be involved in a range of projects with our clients, covering topics such as:

Regulatory transformation:analysis of the impacts of regulation, organisation & processes compliance on Investment banks and capital markets

Business improvement:business processes study, mapping & reengineering, performance management design & implementation, benchmarks & analysis

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor or equivalent degree from a top tier university in Economic, Business, Finance, or any other related field
  • 6 – 7 years’ experience in the management consulting industry and/or Financial Services (Capital Markets/Global Markets/Wealth Management) is preferred. Those with slightly less years’ experience may be considered for a more junior position.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and communication skills
  • Very strong Project Management skills, with ability to manage complex projects
  • Able to drive relevant business decisions, accelerate projects delivery and mitigate, deter and escalate risks and issues efficiently.
  • Fluency in English is essential, knowledge of spoken and written Mandarin highly advantageous
