Ensures effective employee relations. Provides employee coaching and development. Resolves employee issues through problem resolution as outlined by policies and practices. Understands when to involve Supervisor to resolve employee issues. Communicates all issues to Supervisor.

Demonstrates effective and professional communication skills.

Directs departmental performance measures with Supervisor, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to Supervisor.

Provides leadership.

Assume responsibilities in the absence of the Supervisor (in regards to the production line), except for hiring, discipline, and discharging of employees.

Work towards continuously improving housekeeping, safety, and productivity, and supports an environment that empowers employees.

Use required personal protective equipment

Machine various window extrusions and parts according to blueprint

Problem solve new products and address machining challenges

Setup machines to fulfill specifications listed on drawing schematics

Operate within established set-up times, cycle times, feed rates and speed

Other duties as assignedExperience

Forklift certified

3 years saw experience

Leadership experienceSkills

Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word

Ability to use hand tools and read tape measure

Ability to read and understand Graham Architectural Products' blueprints, drawings, and routings

Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks

Team player Education
