Professional Staff Nurse, Skilled Nursing - Nights

The Professional Staff Nurse has the authority, responsibility, and shift accountability for the delivery of nursing care through the use of the nursing process. The Professional Staff Nurse, in collaboration with the Unit Manager, and other health care professionals, applies competent clinical knowledge and skills to achieve quality care outcomes. The Professional Staff Nurse must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that is relevant to residents under their care, as well as apply principles of growth and development over the life span. The Professional Staff Nurse also must possess the ability to assess and interpret resident data needed to identify each resident’s requirements relative to his or her age specific needs. This is a full time (40 hour/week) position.
