A Postdoctoral Scholar is available at The Pennsylvania State University to study plant signaling and development under the supervision of Professor Sarah M. (Sally) Assmann (Department of Biology). Our research employs Arabidopsis and rice to study plant responses to stresses associated with climate change, at levels ranging from molecular biology to whole plant development and physiology, to studies of functional impacts of natural genetic variation in populations.Education and Experience:

A Ph.D., strong skills in developmental biology, and experience in molecular biology are required, as demonstrated in peer-reviewed research publications or available manuscripts.Additional Information: This is a term appointment funded for one year from date of hire, with excellent possibility of continuation.
