The Development, Risk and Resilience Lab at Penn State, headed by Dr. Rina D. Eiden, is seeking a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator. The position involves coordination of lab activities for current and new projects in the area of family functioning and developmental outcomes. These include a randomized clinical trial consisting of a parenting program combined with alcohol reduction for parents expecting their first child; and a longitudinal study of families recruited in pregnancy with current assessments in the adolescent period.The Clinical Research Coordinator's responsibilities will focus on project management and coordination. Activities include virtual/remote data collection that include observational assessments and online surveys with families and children, coding of observational and physiological data, data management, ensuring lab compliance, safety, and confidentiality; general lab management and administrative duties, and overseeingundergraduate research assistants in the lab.This position requires a flexible schedule to include working some evenings and weekends, primarily to accommodate the availability of participating families.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Recruitment and retention of families

Assisting with human subject protocols, consent forms, and IRB approvals

Participating in coding teams for coding observational data and literature reviews

Development of project documentation

Data collection that includes surveys, observations, and collection of biomarker data

Data management

Making purchases, and processing reimbursementsThe Clinical Research Coordinator will also supervise and oversee multiple undergraduate research assistants. This will involve hiring, recruiting, and onboarding of these student team members.Opportunities exist for co-authorship on publications and presentations based on interest and experience.After training, the Clinical Research Coordinator will work with various software and applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; REDCap, and SPSS.Benefits include (visit https://hr.psu.edu/benefits for more detailed information):

This position will be filled as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the level of Intermediate Professional, which requires a minimum of Bachelor's degree plus one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.In addition, successful candidates must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity.Application Instructions:
