Adheres to plant and department safety rules, safely operate all equipment and tools, identifies and reports safety problems, corrects when possible.
Transports material from production through final packaging, via forklift or other manual and mobilized equipment.
Load and unload material for shot blast operations or other value-added service.
Package material into drums, Gaylords, boxes or super sacks according to customer specification, this includes adherence to weight specification.
Identify product through labeling and stencils
Perform visual quality inspection of product.
Unload trucks with incoming materials.
Maintains a clean work environment
Performs miscellaneous functions as needed in various departments.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
