Native is seeking a skilled and experienced Grill Line Cook to join our team. As a Grill Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and guidelines. You will work closely with the kitchen staff in our open kitchen to ensure that all orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner. Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Cook food according to recipes and guidelines, ensuring proper portion sizes and presentation
- Monitor food cooking temperatures to ensure food safety standards are met
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Grill Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or culinary setting
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, including knives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work a set schedule Wednesday through Sunday
