Location:This is a traveling position; applicants must be prepared to travel out of state for each new project/assignmentShift/Work Hours: First shift; 40 + hours typically but may vary based on needType of employment: Full-timeExperience: · 1-year minimum experience as a concrete finisher is preferredBenefits:o 401(k)o 401(k) matchingo Competitive payo Time and a half of overtimeo Travel expenses/on-job per-diemo Annual bonus program o Opportunity to travel for worko No residency requirement o Mentorship from the industries most skilled o Strong sense of accomplishment and pride in workResponsibilities:o Assist in the construction and installation of concrete miniature golf courses using various masonry and hardscape elements such as contouring and undulating golf holes, natural rock waterfalls,gunitewaterfalls, textured/carved and tinted concrete streams and ponds, finished walkways, retaining walls, and other decorative hardscape installations using brick, stone, and/or paverso Assist in the preparation of job sites prior to the beginning of a projecto Operate various tools and equipment, including but not limited to cutoff saws, angle grinders, hammers/chisels, mixing equipment, mason trowels/floats, compactors, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, rakes,dingos, skids, hammers, drills, etc.o Operate various heavy construction equipment including but not limited to a skid steer, loader, excavator, forklift, telehandler, etc.o Assist foreman with any job-related taskso Assist in installing and reinforcement barso Properly mix various grades of mortarso Properly mix, pour, spread, and finish concreteo Assist in building and dismantling forms used for pouring concreteDue to the nature of this position and the required work, certain physical requirements must be met. You must be able to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in indoor and outdoor construction environments with occasional inclement weather. Individuals on our construction crew handle, lift, carry, and set up materials and equipment that weigh up to 50 pounds (23 kg).
