Penn United Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our building maintenance team. This person will be responsible to provide top quality electrical maintenance service for our employee-owned manufacturing company.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Electrician / Maintenance Specialist :
Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers, lighting and wiring in all company buildings
Install sub panels, bend/ run conduit, pull wire and terminate
Install/repair electrical components in machinery
Ensure all routine and scheduled work on electrical equipment is completed on time and documented
Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner according to OSHA standards
QualificationsQualifications for the Electrician / Maintenance Specialist :
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years industrial electrician experience with a background in industrial/electrical wiring
Prior experience working with 480v three-phase wiring
Must be familiar with using equipment such a multimeter and a Megger insulation tester
Electronics background is a plus
Thorough knowledge of methods, tools, practices & safety measures (NEC codes) related to electrical work.
Technical training related to industrial electricity strongly preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must have a valid driver's license to drive company vehicle
