An RV technician is an individual who is versed in many skills. An RV or camper consists of multiple systems such as electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and refrigeration. Because of the complexity of the RV industry, it takes constant training and experience to keep up on all the different components. Anyone processing this training and experience is in extremely high demand in the industry. This demand is why being an RV technician can be a fulfilling and lucrative career.
It is rare to find one person who has all the necessary skills available. Most RV dealerships and repair facilities employ multiple individuals that have some of these skills and combined, add up to the ultimate RV technician. Although Roadhouse Camper and RV are no different in this concept, we strive to provide continual training and encourage our technicians to help each other stay on the path to become ultimate RV technicians.
