Experienced cleaners needed for pet store maintenance.
Candidate must have experience with animals and specifically untamed breeder parrots. Veterinary experience also preferred. Job tasks will be general cleaning of cages, cleaning that requires the breaking down of cages, and detail work within cages housing large parrots. Scrubbing cage exteriors and interiors, with non-toxic cleaners. Feeding of birds and general observations for changes in behaviors. Due diligence in preventing cross contamination while cleaning cages; specifically, in quarantined areas. There are two locations. Mostly, you will be working alone, and work will be evaluated at the end of each day for continuation of employment. Pay scale moves with level of performance. Days range from 3-7 days per week, dependent on performance. After 6-months of employment, there is an opportunity for sales commissions for marketing and customer acquisition, for persons with marketing experience, resulting in the sales of birds. This is a moderately labor-intensive job, for someone with good observational skills, with the potential for a substantial income, compared to other jobs within this area.
