We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The Fabricator will be responsible for the design, construction, and assembly of various metal, plastic, or other materials to create signs and directional pieces. The ideal candidate will have experience with fabrication techniques and possess a strong attention to detail. A general knowledge of tools and a willness to learn.
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the requirements of a fabrication project.
- Operate various fabrication tools, including hand tools, power tools, cnc equpiment and digital printers common to the industry.
- Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand tools, power tools, or machinery, such as saws, grinders, and welding equipment.
- Conduct quality control checks to identify defects and ensure that the finished product meets the desired specifications.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to complete fabrication projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in fabrication, preferably in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with various fabrication tools and machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and maintain a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to report for work on time and consistenly.
