Apartment Management Company in Pittsburgh East seeks qualified electrical maintenance technician to repair units. Candidate should live within forty-five minutes of Frick Park. Must have a van or truck and tools (basic hand and power tools) and a clean criminal record. All work within two miles of office near Frick Park, Edgewood, Swissvale, Wilkinsburg. Must be able to schedule jobs and follow through and order materials and pick them up.Must have three years electrical experience. Must have understanding of trouble shooting electrical issues around knob and tube, BX, Romex and grounding of panels. Work will be inspected and must pass Underwriters. Do not have to be certified, just have working knowledge.We are a neighborhood development company seeking individuals who can work well with our team.No travel and no lay offs, we work all year.Signing bonus if meet criteria.6% bonus of entire salary after one year employment. Gas allowance and mileage paid.Signing bonus $2,000 after ninety days.
Applicable skills:
GFI installations ,100 amp panel installs, install fixtures and plugs and switches, panels, wiremold,exterior lights , kitchens and baths, emergency lighting, renovation of older homes to insure safe rentals. Must have basic knowledge of electrical systems.
Salary includes gas allowance and paid time off and bonus and raise based on performance.$24.91starting salary.Year end bonus 6% salary makes wage $26.50 hour.
