Production Workers
Washington, PA
Starts at $19.62 per hour, increasing to $24.53 at 6 months
We are currently seeking Production Workers for our Washington Operations. The Washington Specialty Plate Facility produces Finish Plate Products for a variety of end users. The facility includes a Rolling Mill, Anneal Lines, Shear and Plasma Cutting Units, Blast and Acid Pickle Lines, and an Inspection and Shipping Department. Ingot and slab stock are produced at ATI melting facilities and transferred to Washington for rolling and processing to final customer plate size and metallurgical requirements.
Job Functions:
Operate both small and large mobile equipment.
Operate cranes using a remote radio control box or in an overhead cab.
Work with a team in variousfacilities to produce world-class plate products. Some tasks require routine interaction with computer interfaces.
Assist and support routine maintenance activities.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent & one year of experience in manufacturing, farming, military, or other industrial environment
OR
Vo-Tech Certificate or Associate Degree in electrical, mechanical or other related curriculum.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available. Candidates should have the ability to work evenings and weekend shifts. Overtime is available.
Machinists
Washington, PA
Earn from $26.56 to $27.57 per hour
As a Machinist, you will be responsible for reviewing samples, drawings, or instructions to understand the specifications of output. Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping. Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job. Select appropriate machines to complete the job. And perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
Job Functions:
Should have a working knowledge using metal lathe, milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, metal break and metal shear, plasma cutting, metal forming, welders, acetylene torches, blanchard grinding, and metal cutting saws.
Install, maintain, repair, and replace industrial machinery, work tools, and equipment.
Perform both uptime and downtime preventative maintenance in adherence to the master PM schedule.
Operate for trucks, man lifts, cranes, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
At least two years of machinist experience in a manufacturing, military, or other industrial environment.
This role is Monday-Friday. As part of our Union Maintenance Team, you must be willing to work all shifts in our 24/7 operation. Overtime may be available.
Electrical Maintenance Technicians
Washington, PA
Earn from $26.56 to $27.57 per hour
Electrical Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing electrical maintenance on a variety of equipment and systems including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLCs, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps, cranes, mobile equipment, etc.
Additional Job Functions:
Perform preventative, predictive, and emergency electrical maintenance on a variety of electrical and electronic systems.
Implement process improvements and methods that will increase effectiveness and efficiency.
Operate for trucks, man lifts,cranes, etc.
Use of standard and specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to properly assess and troubleshoot issues.
Interpret electrical schematics, understand technical manuals, and follow written instructions.
Operate for trucks, man lifts, cranes, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
At least three years of experience performing electrical system and machine maintenance in a manufacturing and industrial environment
OR
An associate degree in an electrical-related discipline
Candidates should have the ability to work evenings and weekend shifts. Overtime may be available. As part of pre-employment, an electrical maintenance skills assessment will be conducted.
Mechanical Maintenance Technicians
Washington, PA
Earn from $26.56 to $27.57 per hour
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a broad range of mechanical equipment including rolling mills, annealing furnaces, slitters, conveyors, and mechanical components such as hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, power transmission systems, etc. You may also perform some maintenance on cranes, forklifts, and other mobile equipment.
Additional Job Functions:
Follow all safety practices and rules to ensure equipment is operating in a safe manner.
Perform preventative, predictive and emergency electrical maintenance on a variety of electrical and electronic systems.
Performance of other maintenance work such as installing piping, welding, rigging, carpentry work, and performing miscellaneous repairs on floors, ceilings, windows/glass, doors, etc.
Implement process improvements and methods that will increase effectiveness and efficiency.
Use of standard and specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to properly assess and troubleshoot issues.
Maintain accurate records of projects including machine assembly, start up, and installation.
Participate in daily meetings, prioritizing and reviewing the daily schedule of work
Operate for trucks, man lifts, cranes, etc.
Provide assistance in operating in operating functions/areas.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
At least two years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, farming, military, or other industrial environment.
An associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology or other mechanical program.
This role is Monday-Friday. As part of our Union Maintenance Team, you must be willing to work all shifts in our 24/7 operation. Overtime may be available.
