SCT is hiring for a Medical Install Tech position in the Pittsburgh PA area. SCT is located in Indianapolis, IN. Currently we have 27 healthcare technicians on our team. This position is a 1099 position. Technicians will be working on their own or in a team environment.
SCT currently covers 27 states for our customers. This position does require a reliable car for daily transportation. Overnight travel will be required throughout the year. This position is fit for someone with mechanical and IT skills. This position requires someone to do everything from inventorying equipment, assembling of the equipment, installation of new equipment and removal of old equipment.
Daily requirements include filling out a daily work log, communicating any issues to the team lead or supervisor. Timesheets must be done daily. Pay is weekly on Friday.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
In this position, you are responsible for delivery, assembly and set-up of equipment in hospitals and medical facilities
Some overnight travel will be required

Adheres to company policies and procedures in regard to using personnel protective safety equipment and services
Assists in resolving customer equipment problems under emergency conditions.
Assists with implementation of quality improvement programs to meet company and JCAHO standards.
Communicates to supervisor any problems or conditions which would otherwise compromise the projects completion
Completes daily work log and timesheet
Develops basic reimbursement knowledge, completely documents all information
Prepares and maintains written company records to include invoices, work orders, expenses and timesheets
Processes all orders and required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
Reports equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policies
Performs other duties as assigned
Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
Mechanically inclined for the repair and troubleshooting of equipment
Successfully demonstrates loading, unloading and proper tie down procedures as per company policy of transported cargo
Lift and carry medical equipment at times
