Application Support Analyst

Apex Systems is recruiting a Application Support Analyst for our large financial client. The application support analyst will join our client's Workplace Technology Support team, your role will include supporting Microsoft 365, including OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Information Protection, plus other related end-user facing technologies. The candidate will provide documentation and training of staff in these applications, testing system upgrades and business reports relevant to the company will also be necessary. Any upgrades, releases and enhancements will need to be communicated to relevant departments. Users must also be aware of the changes. Responsibilities:

  • Must provide technical support to the users. That can be done either in person, either via telephone or via e-mail.
  • Application support analysts will have to ensure a better usability of the system, by enhancing it. In order to do that, the candidate must also be able to manage different development tasks.
  • The tasks of application support analysts can grow by the day. They can also have corporate contribution.
  • They must support and comply with the corporate strategies, plans and policies, as with any development initiative, such as customer service improvements.
  • Because of the level of involvement, application support analysts must sometimes also ensure proper care of company equipment.
Experience:
  • The perfect candidate will have experience with administrating and supporting Microsoft 365, plus exhibit excellent problem solving and communication skills. They must have advanced Microsoft skills in Office, Windows 10, Mac, and Mobile.
  • In order to qualify for the position of an application support analyst, you must have experience in relevant business disciplines. You should have also graduated in the IT sector, and have 3+ years experience supporting and maintaining Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, including OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Teams integration and Microsoft Information Protection. Contract to Hire is a possibility.
Additional Notes:
  • 5 years of experience needed
  • Work in the financial/medical/legal field would be beneficial, as those fields are fast-paced
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in experience preferred
  • This position will be remote

    • OneDrive Online and OnPrem / Microsoft support background
    • SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 Sharepoint Online
    • Azure Basics (Cloud Understanding)
