JOB TITLE: Production Associate
EMPLOYER: Quality Machined Products and Manufacturing
REPORTS TO: Employee in this position receives supervision from the Operations Manager and Company owners but reports directly to the Vice President.
SUMMARY: A person in the Laborer’s position perform multiple tasks and duties as directed by Management that are encountered in the day-to-day machine shop operation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive and move incoming materials
If certified, run forklift
Point bars and move them as directed
Unload trucks
Perform manual machining operations such as drilling, honing, buffing, stamping, tapping, etc…
Operation and run the MSO (Multi Secondary Operations Machine)
Perform finishing operations
Clean machined parts
Clean and organize shop areas: floors, machines, bay areas, etc.
Operating Spin chips
Package and count parts
Property maintenance: take out garbage, lawn care, de-ice sidewalk, shovel walkways, etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
