"World Of Rugs" in Robinson Town Centre is currently hiring Stock Helpers for our retail store.
This Full-time, general labor position requires someone who is a team player, able to take direction well and be self-motivated to complete tasks, able to follow a 40 hour / week rotating schedule (usually 10am - 6pm), has no bad habits, and can pass a background check.
Pay ranges from $15-$18 / hour depending upon your experience. Drivers for our delivery van are paid more.
(must have a clean driving record and current, valid drivers licence)
Job duties will include:
Flipping rugs for customers, moving rugs daily, assisting with store maintenance daily, keeping merchandise neat and organized on the sales floor, stock room, warehouses. loading delivery vans & trucks, lifting 50+ lbs at a time, climbing railed step ladders for merchandise, checking in and putting away new merchandise and assist with pricing, helping with deliveries to customers homes around Pittsburgh and other duties as assigned.
You will not be selling directly to customers, as we have a trained staff to do that, however you will assist them to present rugs to customers. Dress is casual, so jeans and tennis shoes are ok to wear as you will be doing physical work.
( fyi - There is room for Advancement - we are also looking to find the right person who can eventually take over and Supervise all of these duties and the other Helpers as the Warehouse as Manager.)
