Part time Building Maintenance/Warehouse position in our Pittsburgh PA office. This involves shipping, receiving, sample inventory, property maintenance, building maintenance, etc…
Job Requirements
Diploma or associate’s degree. Related building maintenance and warehouse experience preferred.
Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
Basic electronics and electrical skills.
Basic computer knowledge (Office 365, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat)
Duties & Responsibilities
Ship freight – carefully package fragile electronic items, weigh package and request shipping label.
Receive freight (UPS, Fedex & LTL Carriers). Examine contents for damage, collect and record all pertinent information.
Warehouse Maintenance - maintain sample and catalog inventory in alphabetical order. Make sure all items necessary for daily operations are in appropriate locations (i.e. extension cords, ladders, packing materials, etc…)
Property Maintenance – mow lawn, pull weeds, leaf removal, clear sidewalks, animal control, maintain lists of equipment locations (i.e. paint, fire extinguishers, furnace filters, equipment instruction sheets, etc…
Sample Inventory - Maintain Lighting fixture samples – receive, label and store all lighting fixture samples. Record sample in office software, print label barcode and tag sample. Attach corded plugs to new samples that require them. Make sure sample is in working order.
