LEAD AM COOK to help take inventory, order food, check in deliveries, lead the line in cooking and communicate with the LEAD PM COOK to coordinate a well run kitchen. Must know health dept. codes and consider sanitation and cleanliness the priority in BOH. Will get you trained in ServSafe Manager for right individual.
As industry standard, long shifts and mandatory weekends in a family run, long standing Pittsburgh restaurant are required. Typical shifts 9 am to 7 pm. Occasional nights for coverage or catering in house parties as holidays approach.
Must have own transportation for unplanned supply runs. This is a requirement for the position. Please do not apply if you do not have own transportation. Team player that also has leadership skills is a plus.
