Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a local Network Engineer to work in the Fox Chapel area to provide network design and support for internal customers. Requests for this team come from the product team for wither specific client projects or to add new functionalities to the product being offered. When requests come into the team, this engineer will be designing, testing, configuring, and troubleshooting the network. After design has been completed, the network prototype will be built in the lab and tested on the product before being delivered to the customer. After testing is complete, installation will be handled by a peer group. Post-installation, other responsibilities include troubleshooting/debugging with field technicians for product already installed at client sites. There is also ad hoc requests coming from the field for troubleshooting this engineer will be gathering information on system performance while working with the field technician onsite to troubleshoot.Skills and Requirements- 5+ years of Networking experienceo Routing and Switching DESIGNo Understanding of RSTP and EIGRP Protocolo Cisco experience with Cisco ecosystemo Troubleshooting experience- Bachelors degree - Bachelors degree in related field Computer science, telecommunications, etc- Familiarity with industrial systems power system , ICS, process automation, factory automation, etc- REP, BTO, NTP, RTE protocols- Zero Trust Networking Model- Automation of Configuration Software experience/background (will not develop but would be helpful to understand how to work with developers)- Cisco Certifications CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, CCDA, CCDP, CCAr nullWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
