Market Research/BI Summer Intern
Description/Job SummaryPITT OHIO, a $900 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, GROUND, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking a Market Research/BI Summer Intern. This internship position is located at our corporate headquarters in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh, PA.
Responsibilities:
Meet with internal PITT OHIO teams to identify customer data sources and rules
Collaborate with IT to add data to reporting source (SQL Server data warehouse and Snowflake)
Present this data using PowerBI
Train Sales team on how to use the new PowerBI solution
Project:
Assist with building new SIMS data for Accounts Receivables
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing or IT
GPA 3.5 or higher
Fluent English language skills required to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work with large data sets in Excel
A functional knowledge of SQL, PowerBI and Snowflake
Effective problem-solving skills
Strong multitasking skills, ability to set priorities and accomplish objectives to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
