Investment Operations Analyst

Wilshire is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to join their Alternatives Operations team. This position is highly collaborative and will have significant interaction within and across the firm. This position will report to the Vice President.What you'll do:Maintain fund cash balances and monitor daily cash activity ensuring differences/issues are identified and resolved in a timely mannerPerform daily cash analysis (i.e. prepare cash position and forecast reports)Assist in preparation of financial statementReview the underlying investment holdings including cost, fair market value, capital calls, distributions, unrealized gains/losses for completeness and accuracyPerform monthly bank reconciliationsFollow through capital calls and distributions from underlying investments in a timely mannerResponsible for posting activity to the general ledger, coordinating payment of expenses and maintaining supporting documentationEnsure that appropriate accounting treatment for all transactions is appliedRespond to and resolve investor and investment queries in relation to administrative issuesAssist Investor Relations in the maintenance of accurate contact information for all investors and investmentsAssist with other fund administration, such as data entry, scanning, and filing documentsAssist in the quarterly client reporting process and mailingsAssist with year-end auditPrepare ad hoc reports and analysis as needed
