Finally, we offer generous educational benefits for eligible employees, their dependents and spouse/domestic partner.Job SummaryDirects the daily operations of multiple institution organizational units or a large, multi-faceted academic, research, and teaching department within a school or college, including finance, human resources, payroll, information technology, operations and management of facilities, accounting, grant management, and purchasing. Oversees strategic planning, future direction of programs, and allocation of resources. Controls expenditures and directs special projects.Essential FunctionsGrant Proposals: Collaborate with faculty and researchers to identify funding opportunities. Review and approve all submission of grant proposals, ensuring compliance with sponsor guidelines and deadlines. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations related to grants and contracts. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes. Grant Tracking and Monitoring: Track the status of grant applications and funded projects. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop financial plans and forecasts for the dept. Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Budget Development and Oversight: Lead and complete the annual budgeting process for the department. Monitor departmental budgets and provide guidance on budget adjustments.
