Develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with the company's goals, ensuring the supply chain supports business objectives while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of supply chain strategies, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management, to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials while optimizing costs.

Drive operational excellence initiatives, streamline processes, and implement best practices to enhance productivity, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain performance.

Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop robust contingency plans to mitigate disruptions, ensuring continuity of operations.

Purchase the highest quality merchandise, machinery, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, or services necessary at the lowest price and in correct amounts to meet manufacturing and branch operational needs.

Day to Day Tasks look like:

Work with project managers, salesmen and our operations team to ensure projects are coordinated with the equipment and material (PPE, machinery, etc.) they need to complete an industrial or commercial project.

Responsible for ordering all material and rental equipment. This includes, but is not limited to lumber, gas detection monitors, appropriate PPE, clothing, forklifts, cranes, trailers, and other construction or insulation material. Setting up asbestos, lead monitoring and drug testing for employees on site.

Arrange and coordinate all hotel reservation when our employees travel out of town to complete various emergency and outage work.

Manage the Pittsburgh/Ohio Valley vehicle fleet. Assign gas cards and vehicles to appropriate projects and track those with assistance from third-party provider that assists Brandsafway with tracking.

Manage all wireless devices for the Pittsburgh/Ohio Valley region. Consolidate hot spots, cellular devices and laptops.

Along with our area safety manager, assist with coordinating all drug testing, respiratory fit testing and government clearances for Brandsafway employees as required by site specific power plants, gas plants and other facilities.

Assist our operations manager with on-site equipment. Coordinating deliveries and removal of trailers, vehicles, etc. While also coordinating pick-up and delivery of equipment when needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field;

Proven track record of 5+ years in progressively responsible supply chain management roles within the construction or related industry.

Demonstrated success in implementing supply chain strategies that resulted in cost savings, improved efficiency, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required.

Very strong negotiation, interpersonal and problem resolution skills.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to perform and adapt in a changing environment.

Strong project and time management skills.

Work well under pressure and must be able to work independently and be a self-starter.

Experience with both standard and custom production practices.

A “Can-Do” attitude approach to any challenge.

Able to communicate clearly with all levels in the organization.

Understanding of best practices in strategic, sourcing, process/supplier implementation and change management.

Good team player with integrity and leadership ability.
