Loubier Design specializes in high-end custom millwork and furniture for both residential and commercial projects. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated carpenter, who is looking to grow their profession, to join our install team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist the lead installer in the installation for all projects including custom cabinetry, doors, countertops, paneling, and other various types of architectural millwork. On occasion assistance in the woodshop will be needed. This would entail building + assembly of cabinets, furniture, and other miscellaneous items.
A suitable candidate might possesses the following:
- A general understanding of shop drawings.
- Comfortable following precise instructions.
- Good time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to read a tape measure and good math skills.
- Maintains a professional appearance and attitude.
- Able to stand on your feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
- Must have a driver’s license and be willing to travel to job sites in the city of Philadelphia and its neighboring counties.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm with occasional overtime available
