Our client in Philadelphia is looking for a
Peoplesoft HCM Administrator to join their team. This is a permanent role by way of contract-to-hire. This role will start out remote and then will need to be in the office 3 days a week.Position Description:- Application support from the back end - Supporting application from the server, writing reports, SQL Queries
- Troubleshooting and testing custom applications (writing test scripts)
- Work alongside the developers
- Review functional specs, help the business users complete it, ask them questions
- Test what the developers coded
- Go back to the developers if something is not working the way they expect it
- Learning how to support the organization's specific application
- 70% supporting, 30% testing. During an upgrade, it will be more testing (could flip to 30% support, 70% testing)
- PeopleSoft HCM administration or other Peoplesoft administration experience
- Technofunctional skillset - ability to work with users and work technically in applications or Peoplesoft. Experience supporting/maintaining/troubleshooting customized software/applications for a company (i.e. interface problems, etc.)
- Must have experience with Application support from the back end
- Must have experience supporting the application from the server
- Experience tracking down issues and knowing who to bring in to fix the problem
- Must have strong SQL query and report writing experience (ability to join tables, get data out, etc.)
- Manual Testing, functional spec writing, user acceptance testing, unit testing
- 3+ Years' experience with using or supporting a variety of corporate systems
