If so, you might be exactly who we are looking for! Bell's Bike Shop has opening(s) for full and part time techs. This is a position where you will be trained although previous professional mechanic experience is a plus.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Repairing and cleaning customer bicycles
Checking in bicycles for repair, and writing detailed service orders
Working on building custom and stock bikes in a timely fashion
Build wheels
Keeping mechanic area clean and organized
Keeping shop retail area and bathrooms clean and organized
Evaluate and review new products and provide feedback as needed
Participation in monthly shop rides
Qualifications Preferred:
High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience required
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook or Google Apps equivalent
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong organizational skills
Able to meet deadlines and remain detail oriented
Cycling experience needed
General knowledge of bicycle components
Evening and Weekend Availability
