Position Description:
Title: Marketing Manager/ Public Relations
Hours: 45 hours per week
Reporting Structure: Reports to Chief Marketing Officer
JOB SCOPE:
-Collaborates with the Marketing Department to ensure a positive brand influence that is current and relevant
-Develops strategic initiatives to create and maintain a positive public image for the company
-Manages and has direct responsibility for growing in-store and online traffic through direct marketing, social media, print advertising, and in-store/public events
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Serves as a liaison between the company and the public
-Develops and maintains a positive public image for the company through public-facing communication
-Writes, reviews and distributes press releases and other public-facing communication
-Evaluates advertising campaigns to ensure consistency with the company’s public relations strategy
-Develops and executes social media and content strategies to release information on the company in a manner that will promote a positive public image
-Collaborates with entire marketing department to conceptualize & execute a solid plan
-Timely execution of all projects & proper planning
-Develops strategies and implements actions to grow the E-Commerce business in conjunction with entire Marketing Department
-Collaborates & works closely with entire marketing department to assure all objectives are met on a timely and consistent basis
-Consistent Branding of products, carlinosmarket.com, social media outlets and all in-store signage
-Develops and executes in-store and public events related to Marketing strategy
-Communicates weekly with store managers &chefs companywide to find solutions to increase sales & increase in-store traffic through marketing collateral
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
-Knowledge of public relations principles and strategies
-Excellent public speaking skills
-Creativity and knowledge of Marketing
-Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
-Proficient time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
-Bachelors degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field required
-Minimum of two years related experience required
