Hello, i am being sue for months of back rent and partial payments stemming from covid 19.
I want to counter sue for things done to us or things we ( a family of 3 with a small child) had to live with wich i think or hope come with a certain dollar amount or value in a trial. In order to get the money owed expunged reduced or hopefully come out ahead in order to generously pay our lawyer.
1- I feel the court needs to be moved as i feel they have home court advantage or an unfair advantage as they sue people regularly in this court and i feel they have Biult up a relation ship with the judge and i have witnessed what looked like favoritism before.
2- I need to know when and how to counter sue . how many days before the trial and where to even file paper work.
3- the proper legal language and terminology. I don't know what indiscretions fall under which definitions. We wer without heat for months in the winter with a new born infant in the house and a new mother both coming down with colds. We wer terrified for our baby and wer about one day away from taking him to a hospital or doctor when the heat finally came back on. I would routinely come home from work to both of them huddled in the corner of the couch under a blanket in the dark becouse it was to cold to get up and turn on a light. The story gets a little worse but you get the idea. Among other things i want to sue for emotion distress, time missed from work , possibly child endangerment and more the house is no ware near what i am being billed for and neither is the property i could go on and on but who has tue time and its probably not a good idea to even put this much info up but. Im trying to get the right persons attention not spend weeks on the phone trying to find the right lawyer.
4- I want to call out what I consider disgusting unbecoming unresposible behavior by manage ment.
5 - further calling out management for attempting to throw a baby out on the street during a world wide tragedy with no end in sight. Especially when we know they are a multi multi million dollar company and we are just a family trying to scrape by in a pandemic, crazy election in which many streets of our country are on fireand an economic crisis Its screwed up to know the first thing these people are thinking about in a time like this is their wallet and i think this should be brought to light and they should be held as legally accountable as possible.
Why does it seem like the law is only there to be used by people that have millions against people with nothing . I need your help. I dont really see me even putting up a properly written counter suit without professional help. And time is ticking.

I can most likely pay a few thousand in cash and hoping whoever has payment plans after that but the goal is really to come out on top in order to like i said generously pay my lawyer. I don't care if your charging 99% as long as we win. This is more a matter of principal than money for me.
Im also looking for any one who is interested in making deals pertaining to realistate fix and flips / rentals or labor on any other home office remodels they might be working on or wanting to work on as I am a 20 year construction worker with my own little service and remodel company and am currently looking for business partners as it is.
