Shipping Associate

ConnectUs (www.connectuscorp.com) is seeking a Shipping Associate to join our fast-paced entrepreneurial team. As a Shipping Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely shipment of goods to our customers. Your keen attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.Responsibilities:Prepare and pack orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.Ensure accuracy in picking, packing, and labeling of products.Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries.Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and inventory checks.Handle and resolve shipping-related issues, such as damaged products or shipping errors.Maintain a clean and organized shipping area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.Adhere to shipping and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.Responsible for managing and continuously improving shipping software (shipstation) and other systems for optimal efficiencyHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.Proven experience in a shipping, warehouse, or logistics role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments and paperwork.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with shipping software and systems.Ability to lift and move heavy packages when necessary.Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.Assist with other tasks and functions in the warehouseThe candidate should be ready to discuss which of our core values resonate with them - https://connectuscorp.com/careers/PI249411995 Apply
