Job description:
In search of a self-motivated, safety and detail-oriented full-time mechanic for an established paving contractor in Dresher, PA. Experience encouraged. Full time position with up to date equipment. Competitive Pay with OT hours available. Expected 40 hours per week. Benefits and retirement plan available. Room for advancement.
Qualifications:
- Must have valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Must be able to meet physical demands
- Experience with Air systems, electrical, hydraulic and brake systems
- Able to run dump trucks, excavators, loaders, backhoes, skid steers, etc.
- Logical trouble shooting skills and capabilities to isolate and attack problems
- Reliable, efficient use of time and professional
Responsibilities:
- Heavy truck equipment repairs
- Diagnose and write up with needed parts and labor
- Perform routine maintenance on our fleet
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with management
- Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines
- Help out any and all projects assigned by management
- The position requires a self-starter who can troubleshoot problems and identify issue
- Evaluate and document repairs, system problems and perform preventative maintenance
- Cleans & maintains an orderly work area
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
