Medical Technologist Job Description:
A private practice in Trevose, PA is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Medical Technologist/Technical Supervisor in a Physician Office Laboratory running a desktop urine drug screen analyzer. This is a Part Time position, two days per week. Hours are flexible.
Job Requirements:
Have earned a minimum of Bachelors Degree in a Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution
Experience in a Moderate/High Complexity Laboratory setting 4 years
After the doctor has signed all documentation, the lab will submit all data generated by the lab including calibrations, controls, maintenance records, all quality assessment records, and any personnel changes. These will be submitted for review and as technical supervisor they will then generate a documentation review report to the lab director.
Ability to interface with EMR system and training will be done by zoom.
Require candidate who is familiar with inspections and can handle all aspects of inspections
. Must have a positive attitude, maintaining professional conduct at all times
Must have the ability to work as a team member, with limited supervision as necessary
Job Responsibilities:
The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
QA/QC of Moderate Complexity Lab
Performing screening procedures
Proper handling of Medical Records and Test Results in EMR system
Reagent and Consumable Supply Ordering and Inventory
Assists physicians and Clinical Staff in various responsibilities
Benefits:
Salary negotiable based on experience. $28/hr-$32/hr
