Job Description
The Ice Cream Parlor Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of an exceptional customer experience at the Bredenbeck’s Ice Cream Parlor. By fostering an inclusive, positive and productive work environment, the Ice Cream Parlor Manager will play an integral role in motivating staff and ensuring the profitability of the ice cream parlor.
The Ice Cream Parlor Manager will be the principal point of contact between the parlor and senior-level management and will be required to keep an open line of communication with the production manager, general manager and owners regarding ice cream parlor operations. The Ice Cream Parlor Manager will oversee inventory management to ensure the parlor is always stocked with the necessary supplies and product.
The Ice Cream Parlor manager will be responsible for disseminating vital information to parlor staff as needed, as well as ensuring the implementation and integration of any knew policies regarding ice cream parlor operations. As the lead trainer and principal point of contact for ice cream parlor staff, the Ice Cream Parlor Manager must excel in a coaching role. They will ensure the timely training of new staff members in adherence with the training schedule, as well as the maintenance of staff conduct standards throughout the duration of employment.
The Ice cream Parlor Manager’s example is ‘the’ example for all parlor staff. Accordingly, they must demonstrate a positive personality and ‘can-do’ attitude, in addition to possessing an exceptional work ethic and exemplary communication and time management skills. The ice cream parlor manager will recognize that the success of Bredenbeck’s retail operations relies on an exceptional customer experience, and will conduct themselves accordingly.
Core Job Responsibilities
Complete parlor staff training.
Complete weekly inventories and ordering for Ice Cream Parlor product and supplies.
Communicate and collaborate with senior management as necessary.
Supervise parlor staff and delegate key responsibilities.
Maintain the cleanliness, organization and aesthetic appeal of the ice cream parlor.
Ensure a positive experience for all Bredenbeck’s Ice Cream Parlor customers.
The ice cream parlor is open everyday from 12PM-10PM. The Ice Cream Parlor Manager must have evening and weekend availability.
