This is a hands-on position for a Sous chef with cooking and management skills to take the lead on the Executive
chef's days off, maintain quality, control, and manage the cafe's production and labor/inventory as we launch a
food truck.

Responsibilities will include creating menu specials, training/mentoring staff, and containing food
and labor costs. and most important- motivating our staff of 11-14 professional kitchen employees.
We're seeking a creative and dedicated leader to guide our hard-working staff while maintaining
quality-focused standards at a small café with high sales volume (mostly breakfast and lunch.)
Our recently expanded open kitchen café features Southern cuisine made from scratch.
We are open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. in Philadelphia's Reading Terminal
Market. This position is predominantly 5 days a week, not many evenings, with a 55-hour average work
