Job Description As a Senior Technology Architect you will identify new enabling technologies and platforms to help solve technical challenges, and serve as a subject matter expert for one or more network solutions. As a member of this team you will lead research and consultation decisions on existing or emerging technologies and associated services, processes and support strategies while also leading the evaluation of technology innovation and set direction for technology roadmap, implementation and support strategies for technology roadmap and domain architecture. Your responsibilities will also include defining documentation requirements and assist in the preparation of proper documentation compliant with standard operating procedures. You will also be responsible for managing definition of user needs, providing input to functional design, testing, troubleshooting and basic system management. Finally, you will assess risks and implement mitigation strategies within the technology architecture while collaborating with business development, IP development and partner stakeholders to align solution strategy and priorities. Working Environment Onsite: No Relocation Assistance Offered This position offers an Onsite working environment. Meaning you will primarily work in a Cerner office or client site. Basic Qualifications- At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- At least 2 years system engineering and/or system architecture work experience
- At least 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
