The Head ofR&DGTM Strategy will be responsible for driving the market success of our pharmaceutical R&D product portfolio across the Clarivate customer portfolio.This individual will drive our approach to the R&D market, working primarily with marketing and salesteams.This role requires a deep understanding of the market for pharmaceuticalR&D data and applications.In this role, the individual will have the opportunity to work with a team of entrepreneurial Life Sciences industry and technology leaders, who, together, are bringing the next generation of innovative R&D applications to the life sciences industry.About your (experiences, education, accomplishments)Bachelor's degree, MBA or relevant degreeMinimum 10 years ofexperience selling enterprise technology solutions in clinical development and/or R&D marketsHistory of success in GTM strategy or sales roles at an organization that ships successful enterprise software products in the Life Sciences & Healthcare marketWhat will you do in this role?Own the business plan and quarterly business reviews for our R&D businessProvide thought leadership and sales support to teams driving the adoption of our R&D product portfolioAdvise the Consulting organization to support product adoptionPresent at industry conferences, lead webinars, and author articles for industry publicationsRepresent Clarivate to relevant policy & advocacy industry associationsSKILLS & ABILITIESThe successful candidate will demonstrate core competencies in the following areas:Deep understanding of R&D data & software industry trendsAbility to hold meaningful conversations with heads of research & discovery, clinical development, research operations, and research IT regarding product introduction, adoption, and scalingAbility to travelfor customer meetings, presentations, and conferencesAbility to work effectively in a global matrix organizationREPORTS TOVP, Strategy & Markets, LS&HDESIRED IMPACT
In addition to responsibilities ownership and consistent demonstration of required competencies, success in this role relies on the achievement of the following milestones, goals and/or contributions.Short term (within 3 months):
Complete new-hire onboarding
Establish strong a regular cadence with your counterparts in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance
Develop a strong understanding of each component of the product portfolio and the markets they serve
Understand why some customers adopt each product and others do not
Create an environment that supports productivity and understand your role to ensure it(By 6 Months)
