Senior Data Insights & Reporting Analyst - 240742DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Data Insights & Reporting Analyst independently analyzes, extracts, refines, and interprets claims data for actionable insights. Provides recommendations for data driven payment integrity functions. Ensures consistent running of audit tools and systems while providing support to auditors with data driven issues. Uses self-directed decision making and problem solving that directly impacts financial outcomes and results.Key Responsibilities:
This position will support Payment Integrity and Audit functions
Data Analysis and Reporting - execute complex algorithms, review data sets, independently problem solve and research data anomalies
Provide recommendations and collaborate with payment integrity team on audit outcomes and improved data clarity
Training - Trains and guides other business and technical associates on system enhancements, payment integrity functional updates and audit tool requirement
Support ongoing payment integrity functions and provide technical assistance with audit data
Coordinates claim, reporting and audit system testing requiring knowledge and experience in various systems
Communicates autonomously with payment integrity team and management, communicates enhancements, implements system corrections and updates
Conduct data analysis in support of a variety of analytic and business solutions
Create and produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc.
Interpret data, analyze results and opportunities
Develops reports and deliverables for management and communicates with all levels of stakeholdersJob Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems/Science, related field or equivalent work experience
5+ years of relevant experience, healthcare, payment integrity or health insurance a plus
Intermediate level experience with Tableau, SQL, and other data systems
Good communication skills, analytical skills, Microsoft Office Suite, data visualization
Proven ability to apply quantitative and/or qualitative research and data analysis techniques to improve operational processes
Ability to interact with business and data management functions
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Passionate about producing high quality deliverables and communicating results to management
Must be competent in Excel (vlookups, tables, formulas, etc), Sql experience, Tableau, Powerpoint
Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions"Hybrid" model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the "Hybrid" model.
