And since we know transforming the future of energy is hard work, we provide competitive compensation, incentives, excellent benefits and the opportunity to build a rewarding career.Are you in?QualificationsNOTE: This is a full-time bargaining unit position subject to the Collective Bargaining Agreement between PECO Energy Group and Local 614PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Revenue Protection Technician is responsible for working with Gas and Electric Service; e.g.: turn-on and shut-off services, meter work, gas and electrical emergencies. Revenue Protection Technicians are considered essential personnel and are required to respond to emergencies and work under all types of weather conditions.MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: Turn-on and shut-off services, theft of service investigations, meter work, gas and electric emergencies.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in Gas or Electric field operations or equivalent.

Valid drivers license and able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical certificate.

Ability to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

Excellent written and oral communications.

Ability to work in stressful environments involving gas or electric emergencies.

Ability to interact with customers on a one on one basis.

Willing to report to any location throughout the PECO territory (Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, Philadelphia).

Previous electric and/or gas work required.

Ability to climb and work off a ladder.

Ability to work out of a bucket truck and from a roof.

Basic computer skills, which would enable you to operate MDT equipment.

Ability to identify, investigate and resolve issues involving theft, hazardous conditions, and/or theft of service.

Must have basic electric theory knowledge and ability to apply this knowledge to actual situations.

Must understand the gas and electric metering system and process.

Understand the proper standards for setting meters and making connections from customer equipment to PECO lines.

Must have the ability to recognize illegal connections and tamper conditions; and be able to safely remove these hazards.

The ability to prepare documentation (theft reports) and be prepared to testify in court when applicable.

The ability to work effectively by yourself or with other members of the Revenue Protection team.
