The PR and Media Outreach Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive public relations and media outreach strategies to support our growth in the Americas region. Join our Marketing Communications department, as our new Public Relations and Media Outreach Manager and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.Your new roleMedia Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with local media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Proactively pitch stories and respond to media inquiries.Strategic Communication: Develop and implement PR strategies that align with the region's goals and resonate with the target audience in the Americas.Content Creation: Craft press releases, media kits, speeches, editorial content, and other communication materials. Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the brand’s voice.Crisis Management: Partners with the Regional Director of Communications and Marketing during PR crises. Develop and execute crisis communication plans to mitigate negative publicity.Event Coordination: Plan and execute press conferences, media briefings, and other PR events. Ensure seamless coordination and effective media coverage. (Works closely with Events Manager)Analytics and Reporting: Monitor media coverage and PR campaign performance. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.About you7+ years of PR/Media experience.Track record of successful PR/Media campaigns.Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.Proven experience in public relations, media management, or a similar role.Strong understanding of the media landscape in our industry, in the Americas.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Understanding of PR KPIs: Share of Voice, Sentiment analysis, etc.Preferred SkillsExperience in crisis communication and reputation management.Familiarity with the industry or sector in which the corporation operates.Multilingual abilities (Spanish)What we can offer youCommitment to your developmentLeaders guided by our Leadership PrinciplesA culture that welcomes you as the unique person you areInspiration from colleagues, clients, and projectsThe long-term thinking of a foundation-owned companyMedical and life insuranceSalary Transparency StatementAt Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package.
