We are looking to speak with Caregivers to gather feedback on a new product designed to help with involuntary urine leakage.
This study has two parts, and we ask that participants complete both:
1. Caregivers 1-week diary study – Spend about 20 minutes per day completing short activities online.
2. In-home session (3–4 hours) – Two researchers will visit your home to observe your impressions of a wearable garment designed for urine capture. You’ll try the garment on (over your own undergarments) to share feedback on fit and comfort. This will involve you as the Caregiver & your loved one with Dementia – both you and your loved one will each compensated for sharing your time and input.
As a thank-you for your time and full participation in both phases of the study—the online diary and the in-home session, you will receive compensation of $600-$750. The exact amount varies depending on the final duration of the in-home visit, which is expected to last between 3 to 4 hours.
This total incentive covers your participation in both the diary study and the in-home session. The patient will also be compensated for the in-home visit at $150/hr. So your loved one that has been diagnosed with dementia will receive $450-$600, again dependent upon how long the discussion lasts (3 or 4 hours).
