Join us on our mission to transform the world, one student, one teacher, and one community at a time.The Lead Generation Representative will play a pivotal role in identifying and qualifying potential leads, engaging with prospects, and ultimately driving sales opportunities for our comprehensive range of hardware and software solutions.The role is responsible for developing the company's sales in the assigned territory and assigned market segment, This role will be responsible for territory planning, building and closing a pipeline of opportunities; the development and management of Promethean's relationship with customers, ensuring that they are educated on the nature and benefits of Promethean's hardware and software offerings, and are enabled and motivated to buy (or promote) Promethean solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Generating incremental revenue by providing sales coverage in assigned territory and market segment
Develop, maintain, and grow sales prospects and new opportunities with new and current customers in the territory with the purpose of increasing revenue, margin, and market share
Build a pipeline and close opportunities (through website research & CRM data)
Develop business with new and existing clients and identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
Build and maintain strong long-lasting customer relationships
Through quality connections w/ customers, build, qualify, forecast, and close sales opportunities w/ a deep understanding of the reseller status within assigned territory to improve the opportunity for Promethean penetration and make sound decisions regarding lead follow-up
Forecast and track key account metrics including pipeline management, pricing actions, demonstration activity, marketing activity, sales reporting, competitive activity, etc.
Following processes and systems to provide timely, yet thorough, responses to customer queries to ensure efficiencies and ultimately incremental sales
Ongoing understanding of Promethean solutions (both software and hardware), & ability to articulate Promethean benefits
Managing relationships with current customers to ensure they are fully aware of new products, initiatives, solutions, etc. to drive incremental revenue through our Channel Partners
Demonstrate Promethean Mission, Vision, and Values relative to teamwork, stabilizing workload and day-to-day operationsSkills and Qualifications
Experience in selling through a distribution channel
Ability to self-motivate to meet and or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly goals
Interpersonal skills: effective verbal and written social skills; able to consistently and appropriately up-sell; understand and use basic selling techniques - open, probe, presentation, and overcoming objections
Strong presenta ion skills
Knowledge of salesforce.com CRM system
Strong analytical skills with a dedicated approach to getting results
Understand buying decisions, buying processes, and cash flow dynamics of small to medium-account opportunities and the future growth potential of the respective accounts
Strong presentation skills and the ability to excite/relate to educators at all levels
Salary Range $49,000 - $63,000 Plus Commission Eligible
