The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying and documenting all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory.Key Responsibilities:Inbound Checker Duties:
Receiving Shipments:Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
Documentation:Accurately document received goods, including product codes, quantities, and conditions.
Quality Control:Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the warehouse supervisor.
Inventory Management:Update inventory records in the warehouse management system.
Coordination:Work closely with the receiving team to ensure efficient unloading and storage of goods.
Outbound Checker Duties:
Order Verification:Check and verify outgoing shipments against customer orders and packing lists.
Documentation:Ensure all shipping documents are complete and accurate.
Quality Control:Inspect outgoing products for damage and accuracy.
Coordination:Coordinate with the shipping team to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods.
Inventory Management:Update inventory records and report any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a cold storage setting.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a cold storage environment for extended periods.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Capability to stand and walk for long periods.
