Description Are you an experienced financial professional with a passion for leadership and strategic impact? Robert Half is seeking a Director of Finance to join our dynamic client's organization and play a critical role in guiding financial operations while supporting organizational goals. As a key member of the finance leadership team, you will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee essential financial functions, ensure compliance, and align financial strategies with the mission and vision of the organization. This is a high-visibility position that requires strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset to drive the organization’s success.Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the organizational budget, aligning it with the broader organizational goals.

Provide comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, and perform detailed analysis of variances to identify trends and growth opportunities.

Collaborate with regional and central office staff to monitor financial results against the budget, identifying, explaining and resolving variances.

Manage the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll postings.

Work closely with the CFO and other finance leadership to review and approve balance sheet reconciliations.

Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely completion of all tasks.

Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Guide on financial planning and resource allocation.

Requirements

The ideal Director of Finance will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar. CPA preferred.Other requirements for the Director of Finance role include and are not limited to:

10+ years of Non-Profit accounting experience, including grant management.

3+ years of management experience.

Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, EXCEL, etc.)

Proven ability to lead and mentor teams effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
