Description We are seeking a dedicated Data Analyst II (Contractor) based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role involves creating valuable insights that influence business decisions in areas such as strategy, business planning, competition, KPI development, and operational optimization. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Analyze complex datasets based on provided requirements to drive meaningful change on KPIs and objectives established by stakeholders. Assist management in shaping methodology and baselining for projects that are similar in scope to past team projects. Incorporate industry-standard best practices for measurement and KPIs, gauging statistical significance. Gather data through advanced SQL, querying across multiple platforms while maintaining performance tuning and best practices. Demonstrate ownership in data gathering source choices and methodology as the SME for common SOT sources. Conduct validation checks including data element inconsistencies and design and implement solutions with leadership. Produce complex reports, graphs, summaries, and presentations that convey analytic results in an easy to understand manner. Clearly identify key points and callout deeper insights within analysis. Develop appropriate visuals to ensure the story is conveyed effectively. Review and polish analysis through iterative development, focusing on flow and context. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to create detailed documentation and reports Experience in training others and supervising teams Aptitude for planning and project management Strong analytical skills and experience in research Knowledge of finance and production processes Ability to troubleshoot and review work for quality assurance Experience with check processing and collection processes Ability to track progress and make accurate forecasts Proficiency in engineering principles and applications Leadership skills and ability to deliver presentations Experience in using analytics tools for data analysis.
